Other Ways to Give
Donor Advised Funds
We welcome funds through Donor Advised Funds, aka DAFs. Remember to provide contact information so we can thank you — some DAF systems don’t automatically include a donor’s name or contact information, so you might need to opt in to provide those details.
Employer Match
Invite your employer to match your philanthropy.
Charitable IRA
Charitable Qualified charitable distributions, or QCDs, are direct gifts from an individual retirement account and a tax-smart way to give, especially if you are over 70½.
Stocks
Donating stock is easy. Give your broker this information: DTC #0057, Edward Jones account #8573644419. Our 501(c)3 nonprofit EIN #27-1275141. Stock transfers often do not include your name — please send an email to Lisa Rudman, Lrudman@sfpublicpress.org, letting us know that we should watch for your donation and how to contact you so we can send an acknowledgement and tax receipt.
