The Public Press thrives on the energy and commitment of committed volunteers who work with us for skill building, camaraderie and a sense of civic pride. If you're a journalist, or have skills in planning, finance, fundraising, graphic design, technology community engagement or marketing, we want you! Get started by filling out a volunteer-interests survey and we'll get right back to you.

We also offer for-credit internships year-round for college students giving students real-world experience. We have had interns from Stanford, San Jose State University, the University of San Francisco, Mills College and San Francisco State University. Check with your adviser for academic policies.
