 fact‐checking
 series

 collaboration

Newsdesk.org

It
 also
 includes
 $2,760
 we 
raised
 at
 a 
fundraising 
event 
in
 San
 Francisco
 in
 December
 2008.


We 
received
 a 
$20,000
 grant
 from
 the
 San 
Francisco 
Foundation 
in 
January
 2009. 
This
 money 
will 
be
 spent
 compensating 
a
 part‐time 
editor, 
contracting 
with 
freelance
 writers, 
redesigning 
the 
web
site 
and 
paying 
for 
office
 rent
 and
 supplies. 
Independent Arts & Media receives 7 percent of incoming donations as part of its fiscal partnership program.
